ABOUT ME

These days click on anyone's business social media and you can pretty much find out what they're about from there. But I'm a little bit old school so I think it's nice to introduce myself here too . I've been a make up artist for 16 years now. I guess you could say given my huge interest in all things make up & beauty related since before I could walk, this was what I was destined for. It wasn't what I pursued until I was mid way through my Fine Art degree, but I graduated and pretty much fell into the make up world where I felt truly at home. I landed myself a senior position at a photography studio where I worked on set, took part in editorials and worked hard to develop my craft under the guidance of some of the UK's top professionals.

My work then took me to MAC Cosmetics where I spent 7 years working with some of the most talented and inspirational artists from all over the UK. Working in such a fashion forward and fast paced environment where the artistry and client service is exceptional really allowed me to evolve my skills and service. Alongside this I studied a Media, Theatrical & SFX Make Up course to gain a formal qualification too, and now I'm proud to say I teach that course a couple of times a week.
Over the years I have been fortunate to work on an abundance of projects including, magazine shoots, fashion shows, TV & film premieres. Most notably I have worked on London Fashion Week , had work published in Vogue Magazine and been shortlisted for Make Up Artist of the Year on 5  separete occasions. 

In 2018 I won the category of Best Freelance Make Up Artist at The Welsh Wedding Awards, which I felt truly honoured to receive.  Alongside this in 2022  I won Best Bridal Make Up artist in South Wales at the Welsh National Wedding Awards. To be recognised for an award in such a huge industry for the service I provide is so humbling.
Right now, I am fully freelance and  love running my business , whilst juggling a pretty hectic family life too I should add! My huge passion for make up, fashion, art and photography and my dedication to my work means I am constantly updating my artistry skills and seeking to improve my business.
